H.H. Princess Maria Gabriela de Orleans e Bragança (Lelli) from Brazil studied Visual Arts in Rio de Janeiro and moved to Belgiumin 1984 for further studies. She then lived and worked in Paris, several other European cities and in the US. In 1996 she returnedto Brazil and dedicated herself to painting the tropical landscapes of Rio de Janeiro with a cool, light European flair, receiving national and international acclaim.
